I learned from the best player there ever was - grandma. Whenever I'd visit her, she'd let me stay up late until 8 PM and eat cookies with extra raisins if I managed to beat her in a round.

I'm definitely still trying to learn a whole lot about the world, card games included. If we find the right cards, will you show me how to play?

Not hell, exactly. But I've been to the realm of death, and to the library that exists between worlds, and inside some different books, too.

It can be fun sometimes! The ever present threat of death and danger and running from the horrors left behind in my wake doesn't dampen the fun. Sometimes it even increases it.
