[the museum is an interesting place. buzen waves hello to every single artifact that he sees, polite as though seeing an old friend. though as he wanders further in, he'll catch sight of something that makes him stop -

and then instantly teleport over, as though he couldn't wait another second before he makes contact]

Kuwa— Kotegiri?!

[two swords sit in cases - one of them the same length as buzen's sword at his hip, the other a bit shorter. the longer is labeled as Kuwana Gou (Uchigatana) and the other is labeled Kotegiri Gou (Wakizashi)]

[factoring]

[She's just walked in and was watching him wave to his... friends? That seems to be the correct view of what's going on here.

Meanwhile, she just slowly approaches the cases that Buzen teleported over to.]

Are these your siblings?

[They have part of the same name.]

[hasteful]

[he shakes his head - ] No - we Gous aren't that kind of family. Even though we were all forged by Gou no Yoshihiro...

[and he really has such a complicated look on his face, looking at the ones in the glass]

This might be a strange question but... do you hear anything, Kyoko-san? Like... I dunno. Whistling? Singing? Voices that aren't ours?

[factoring]

[She watches his expression, steady and careful. It's not an expression she's used to seeing on him, so she takes the time to catalogue it away.

Her eyes close as she listens closely. To her, there's nothing more than the noise of a normal museum. Nothing that sounds like voices.]

I'm afraid I don't.

[hasteful]

[ . . . ]

Right... I guess you wouldn't - then that means they're probably not actually here...

[well - he does sound a little disappointed.]

I'm sorry. Were you hoping to speak with them?

[hasteful]

Yeah... though I guess that'd be pretty unfair, right? If only Matsu and I could end up finding our friends here.

[a little sheepishly,]

So I guess I'll just be happy to get a chance to see them again.

[factoring]

You're in a unique position. I don't think anybody else could see their friends in a museum.

In that way, you could say you're lucky.

While I miss them... I don't think they'd take any of this well.

Right... It's kind of weird - to want to see people again, but definitely hoping that it's not because they make it here.

It's a strange feeling. The desire to see someone again isn't usually so complicated.
