... I think a motorcycle can maneuver easier, weave around faster. [buzen would be such a menace on the streets] That's the kind of thing I want to do.
Going out on long, fast travels with nothing but me and the open road... That's my favorite kind of view.
[don't think this deeply about your motorcycle gijinka au]
Haha, it's probably a weird question to ask you in return, Shu-san. [what object would you choose to be??] So I guess I'll ask instead - what's your favorite kind of view?
[ one that doesn’t have to listen to this many optimists in one place, thanks. ]
… Hmm.

City skyline at night’s pretty good. Go up high enough and you can see all the lights against the night sky. Considering it’s completely manmade, it’s not bad to look at.
Someone I met once... He'd say that things are beautiful, because they are made by and interacted with humans. Because there are people there, they have beauty.
It’s a good way to make yourself feel small. Especially when you think about every light being a sign of another person. New Sieg is big, but when you’re on the ground level it’s just crowds and that’s a different kind of thing.
[ ignoring why shu would be that high up in the first place. ]
On the surface, it’s banned. I’m not politically minded so I don’t know all the details, but there’s sanctions and consequences for war even if it does still happen.
Most conflict just goes underground and is hidden better. That’s what happens when you put bans on things — you just push it to places people can’t see.

[ drift…. like drifting? hm. ]
Out of all of them, that one was one of the more obscure names.

I dunno what a movie is, but I like the sound of that.

I’ve never seen one fully. They’re all numbered with the same title — Fast and the Furious, I think?

But if I could choose to be anything besides a sword...

… It’d be easier to make a break for it that way, true.
[ and then there’s shu. ]
You’d have less storage space too, so you’d be forced to pack light. Which isn’t a bad thing.

I wonder if it's a little like that.

Do you prefer that? Feeling small, rather than feeling crowded?

[ it’s fine, no questions are good questions :) ]

Are you someone with enemies, Shu-san...
[SOUNDS LIKE A PARANOID THING A SWORD WOULD SAY]
no subject
[ definitely. ]
I was taught to be careful of them. That applies in general though? You don’t get pickpocketed alone in a park.

[tilts his head]
I do think the later ones are generally more peaceful though...

No, they just hide their conflict better.

Like the warfare takes on a different shape?
