Ah - '-san' is an honorific where I'm from. It means I respect you. Normally it's considered rude if you drop the honorific with someone you're not close to.

But if it's what's easier for you, then I can do that.

It's not that I don't think people can be cruel - I just don't know if I believe cruelty is all there ever is.
