[IMAGINE BEING ACCOSTED BECAUSE OF RANG!!! He laughs very lightly.
He has a Mikazuki kind of laugh when it’s like this for the record, I’m sorry to tell you.]
Hello, Mr. Buzen. We get along alright? Perhaps because I take him less seriously than others.

[Haha.
The smile D gets again is a bit more sincere this time.] Foxes are very clever and mischievous. Many people think they are like cats, but they are actually related more to canines. [He folds his hands together in front of himself.]
I know of gumiho. I have a kitsune in my pet shop. His name is Ten-chan. He is a nine-tailed fox like Mr. Rang.

I can tell.
[D is talking about Buzen.]
Tsukumogami...? Mm, I don't believe so. We only have animals and plants. However... [Thoughtful.] My grandfather did send me a kimono once. It had a brilliant sakura tree on it.
[His voice trails off a bit quieter, almost sadly...?]
...The detective and I watched it bloom together. It was very beautiful.

I can see why, they are extremely pretty. [He's a furry and a hippie...] It was a wonderful sight.
[His eyes lower under his lashes, and then glances away as if he's trying to decide how to answer. When he looks back, his smile is small and wry.]
A nuisance. Mr. Leon Orcot, the LA detective. He always jumped to violence, his room was a disaster of a mess, and he was a big womanizer. An absolute scoundrel of a man. He was always trying to accuse me of being a criminal.
But he did help me a few times.

[D is learning so much about Matsui and Buzen without even asking a lot of questions. IT'S VERY INTERESTING TO HIM. He's a plant and animal boy, but there is something fascinating about things like this too.
Really, anything unrelated to humanity ruining lives and planets.]
On the contrary, I think you all may enjoy it as the detective and I enjoyed it: something extremely wonderful which only lasts so long... yet renews each year. That way, you remember these things when experiencing the life around you. That all your actions, even so little, can leave a lasting imprint on the ones who live the shortest existences. Over and over.

[HELLO.
D is in the park. It's not the kind of park he likes by any means, but here he is on the playground. He's lounging in the rope bridge that links one section of the playground to the next, almost like it's a hammock.
T-chan is with him, too. The totetsu is sprawled tummy-down on the edge of the platform right before the bridge starts. He's... chewing some of the rope, but looks up at Buzen. D doesn't turn his head, but he says:]
You're missing your tail, aren't you?
[He means Matsui.]

[D laughs softly, finally turning his head to watch Buzen spin in a circle.]
Oh? [Funky little spiritualized inanimate objects.....with tails and ears. He loves them.] No, I was talking about the little shadow who is always following you around sometimes.
Mr. Matsui. He let you wander freely for a while?

A little. It's not a bad thing. I only thought it was interesting he let you explore by yourself for a while.
[Joined at the hip.
T-chan is petted......... T-chan bites Buzen on the arm. It actually is not a ferocious bite. It doesn't seem like T-chan is angry? It's hard, but not painfully hard. The teeth are kinda sharp.
D sits quickly up on the bridge.]
T-chan!! No!

T-chan!! No!
[NOOOOO, MATSUI IS GOING TO KILL D AND T-CHAN!!
D rolls forward and flops toward the totetsu, reaching out to wrap both arms around the furry creature. He doesn't yank, though; that'll just hurt Buzen.]
Oh, T-chan, let go! T-chan!
[Begrudgingly, T-chan lets go, but droops kind of sadly.]
I apologize... There is very little difference between T-chan's love and his appetite. They are one and the same to him.
