A nuisance. Mr. Leon Orcot, the LA detective. He always jumped to violence, his room was a disaster of a mess, and he was a big womanizer. An absolute scoundrel of a man. He was always trying to accuse me of being a criminal.

They bloom only for a short amount of time. I suppose my grandfather was sending us a lesson in enjoying the beauty of life before it's gone so quickly.

[D is learning so much about Matsui and Buzen without even asking a lot of questions. IT'S VERY INTERESTING TO HIM. He's a plant and animal boy, but there is something fascinating about things like this too.

On the contrary, I think you all may enjoy it as the detective and I enjoyed it: something extremely wonderful which only lasts so long... yet renews each year. That way, you remember these things when experiencing the life around you. That all your actions, even so little, can leave a lasting imprint on the ones who live the shortest existences. Over and over.
[yea! he doesn't have to care! buzen also is like. the least judgmental person in existence, which is also pretty funny. but he smiles back]

I can't say if I really do the same thing... but I want to hope so. That at least all the little interactions with people, the time that we get... means something. Even if it's just to one person.
So - I guess I'm glad, for the next couple weeks we've got together.
