Ah... are you familiar with the concept of tsukumogami? Where if an object lasts long enough, exists long enough, then it develops its own consciousness. What I am is... Well, I was summoned in this form [places a hand over his heart] by my Master about three years ago.

But that doesn't mean I stop existing as Buzen Gou, the sword forged by Gou no Yoshihiro that's so fast that it's never been seen. [his other hand goes on the hilt of his sword]

Normally we don't get to tell humans, though... so I've learned how to blend in a little better. So I don't mind - because I don't want to scare anybody or anything.

Right? No, I'm kind of glad that I show up in this form - it's nice to get to walk amongst the humans that I've known all my life but also never really known, you know?

But yeah, both this form and the blade are Buzen Gou. I'm still getting used to this one but... well, it's been a lot more fun than I expected.

Not quite in this way... We've been around people before, but sparingly - so when we got into villages and towns, it's easier to blend in. This is the first time I've gotten to interact with this many humans and be honest about... well, what I am.

[it's a little refreshing? he can't say he dislikes it. buzen is capable of lying, strangely, but he does prefer to be honest]

And normally I'd say yes - but that's not the case here... though if someone got close enough to tap my handle, I guess that'd make us really good friends, you know?
